Advertiser Disclosure
Last updated: March 2026
What This Disclosure Covers
PennySwiper ("we," "us," or "our") operates as a free credit card comparison and recommendation tool. This disclosure explains how we make money and how (or whether) that affects what you see on this site.
How We May Earn Compensation
Some of the credit cards featured on PennySwiper have affiliate links. When you click an "Apply Now" button and are approved for a card, we may receive a commission from the card issuer or affiliate network (such as CJ Affiliate or Impact). This commission is paid by the issuer โ it does not increase the cost of the card or any fees for you.
Not every card on PennySwiper has an affiliate relationship. Cards without affiliate links appear based entirely on their reward rates and merit.
How Compensation Does Not Affect Our Recommendations
Our core mission is to show you the highest cash back rate available for every store you search. We do not:
- Demote a card in results because it lacks an affiliate link
- Promote a card above a better option just because it pays more commission
- Alter reward rate data to favor any advertiser
- Accept payment to change our rankings or recommendations
Cards are ranked solely by the cash back percentage they earn at the searched store, then by annual fee (lower is better) as a tiebreaker. Affiliate commission may act as a secondary tiebreaker only when two cards have identical rates and fees โ never to override a clearly better option.
Our Advertising Partners
We work with or intend to work with the following credit card issuers and affiliate networks:
- Chase (via CJ Affiliate)
- American Express (via Impact)
- Capital One (via CJ Affiliate)
- Citi (via CJ Affiliate)
- Discover (via CJ Affiliate)
- Wells Fargo (via CJ Affiliate)
- Bank of America (via CJ Affiliate)
- U.S. Bank (via CJ Affiliate)
This list may not be exhaustive. All partnerships are subject to change. For the most current information, contact us.
Data Accuracy
We strive to keep reward rates, annual fees, and card terms up to date. However, credit card terms change frequently. Always verify rates and terms directly with the card issuer before applying. PennySwiper is not responsible for inaccuracies in issuer-provided data.
FTC Compliance
In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 C.F.R. Part 255), PennySwiper discloses that it may receive compensation for featured credit card products. This disclosure is provided on every page where affiliate links appear and is linked from the site footer.
